It was started as a basecamp clone and offers now a lot more feature and different pricings. An older version (0.7.x) is still available as open source.

ProjectPier

is the the continuing development of the older activeCollab version. It is totally free and has really good feature, but misses two masterpieces: creating documents and versioning.

This is because the owners of the site are trying to trick you into buying something, or registering. It’s a common tactic on the internet. When Google visits the site, it gives something called a “Header”. This header tells the site who the visitor is. Google’s header is “Googlebot”. The programmers of the site check to see if the header says “Googlebot”, and if it does, it opens up all of its content for only googles eyes.
Now, all we have to do is trick the site’s headers, into thinking that we ARE google. That’s what the site does.

Um ein Word-Dokument vor Veränderungen zu schützen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor.

Dokumente schützen

1. Rufen Sie den Befehl Extras > Dokument schützen auf.
2. Klicken Sie auf die Option “Überarbeitung“ und geben Sie ein wenn nötig Kennwort ein.
3. Speichern Sie die geänderten Einstellungen für das Dokument in dem Sie bestätigen.

Jede Änderung, die nun an dem Dokument vorgenommen wird, wird von Word protokolliert. Jede Änderung wird farblich hervorgehoben. Textpassagen, die gelöscht werden sollen, werden nun durchgestrichen dargestellt. Neue Einfügungen werden unterstrichen dargestellt.

Personen, die das Kennwort ihres Dokumentes nicht kennen, können dann das Dokument nicht mehr ohne Ihr Wissen verändern.

Veränderungen in das Dokument übernehmen

Bekommen Sie per E-Mail ein Dokument zurück, in dem die Überarbeitungen von Word protokolliert worden sind, so ist es einfach, sich die Änderungen anzeigen zu lassen und sie zu akzeptieren oder sie zu verwerfen.

1. Rufen Sie den Befehl Extras > Dokumentschutz aufheben auf.
2. Rufen Sie den Befehl Extras > Änderungen verfolgen > Änderungen akzeptieren oder ablehnen auf.
3. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche “Suchen“, um nach protokollierten Änderungen in dem Dokument zu suchen.
4. Klicken Sie bei jeder gefundenen Änderung auf die Schaltfläche “Annehmen” oder “Ablehnen”.

Word nimmt entsprechend der ausgewählten Schaltfläche die Änderung in das Dokument auf oder verwirft sie.
