Roy Tanck love tags and thinks it’s a brilliant idea to tag blog post. Not so much because he feels it enables people to find information they’re looking for, but because tag clouds usually offer a more adventurous mode of navigation.

What he does not like however, is the way tag clouds traditionally look. Enlarging the font for often-used tags causes all sorts of line height weirdness, which bugs him. This why he started experimenting with Flash to see if he could come up with something better looking.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a Flash parallax scrolling gallery from scratch. Parallax scrolling is frequently used in most 2D animation and games, where the background images and foreground images scroll at different rate of speed. This will create an illusion of depth as the background images are moving slower than the foreground images.
