How to use them - example plugoo

In most cases you have got to sign up first. Using plugoo for example is really easy. Just edit the settings as you like and when you are done copy the piece of code to insert the widget into your website. You can use it in wordpress or in any other blog as you like. The code will load the flash widget as the visitor starts to enter your site. Thats about it! The reason for using plugoo was because we were sick of having some more browser windows open and wanted to have a more professional solution to get messages of clients everywhere we go by using ICQ. This way our status goes automatically to absent when we are at lunch for example. And if we are on vacation and somebody needs to contact, we get the messages on our mobile phone (if it is turned on ;).

How about they design one of these to work over secure sockets (ssl). How exactly does one conduct business without it? Asked plugoo cuz I like that one but they never anwered.

I find Ajax IM interesting to use. I can’t part with it! The other ones I haven’t tried, but I enjoy trying new chat applications.

I’ve always wanted to get a chat application, but haven’t been able to do so because of financial restraint. This article provides helpful links. The one I’m particularly interested in is Toksta because it offers the option to chat via text chat or webcam.
