Working international as a webworker means being flexibel in design habits. All of us have their own personal style when designing websites, but cultural habits get more and more important as well. For example Coke had once brought up an ad with women in bikinis and tried to sell the ad globally. You may can imagine that this was not be as successfull in the arabien countries as it was in western countries. So we have to take care of cultural habits and to localize design components. Brilliant Ways to Style Blockquotes

The blockquote XHTML tag is a fairly useful (if somewhat underused) element. Semantically speaking, a blockquote should be used any time you’re quoting a longer piece of text from another source – another speaker, another website, whatever. It’s a way of setting the text apart, and showing that it came from some other source. Stylistically, you could accomplish all this with a special class on your paragraph tags… but that wouldn’t be as semantically useful, now, would it?

Free vector brand logotypes in CDR, EPS and WMF formats

Sometimes I need a brand logo for a portfolio site. I often start to crop jpegs from the companies websites, but am not very satisfied with this solution. This catalogue site makes it much more easier and contains only best logos of famous companies worldwide. The logotypes were manually sorted and checked. All the files available in three vector formats: CDR (CorelDraw 12), EPS (EPS 7, zipped) and WMF (rar-archive).
