Winning Guide

If you are declared a winner, you will have one week to redeem your set of cards. Feel free to resell them, give them away, or use them all for yourself.

The cards will come on thick 16pt card stock
They can be printed with a matte finish, or a glossy UV finish

Christmas is coming and Knowtebook is offering you a way to get fame and freebies. All you need to do is submit your christmas postcard designs. The winning design will be printed on 250 postcards and shipped to the designer for free.

You can share your postcards with anyone this holidays, and you can use them to thank existing customers, acquire new clients or promote a new service. For example design your own postcard and let your valued customers know about your latest deals.

What do you have to do?

All you have to do is to send in your card to sebastian [at] knowtebook.com . It can be illustrated, include pictures or drawn by hand - what ever you like!! The community will choose the winner, so you better tell lots of your friends about the contest

The deadline for joining is the 1st of December. The winner has to be chosen by the community the 5th of December, so that 250 people get their postcard right before Christmas.

The postcards size will be 5.75″ x 4.125″.

How to win 1.000 business cards

All you have to do to win is to publish a post on your website about this contest including your own card designs with a link to Knowtebook until the 10th of september. Send us your layouts and get promoted and interviewed on Knowtebook. The best design submission gets 500 business cards and the 2nd and 3rd place get 250 business cards for free.

What layouts will be accepted

We are very proud to get this business cards printing by UPrinting.com, who has been a trusted leader in online printing for over 25 years now. If you are among the winners, you can choose any of their stocks, including the eco-friendly cover stock (13 pt. Cover Uncoated - Recycled) or the 14 pt. family in Matte, AQ, or UV at any custom size they offer such as square cards, odd sizes like 3×3, 2×2. Make sure your layout size will fit into their stocks. All submitted designs have to be made by your own and will be published on Knowtebook.

There are 2 possibilities to send in your designs. 1st: write a post on your website with your design and then comment on this article to be “registered” officially for the contest. Don’t forget to mention the link to your website. 2nd: Send in your design directly to Sebastian (sebastian AT knowtebook DOT com) and make a comment to the contest post to register.

What files to send in?
We do not want to catch your layout ideas, thus you do not need to give us the illustrator file for example. Just send a jpeg, gif or png file in high quality and a width of at least 500px!

Knowtebook Boosts 611% per Month - spread and succeed too!

Moohaa! We have just seen our statistics and are proud to announce that we hope to hit the 20.000 page views by the end of the month, since we had a linear line so far. Probably, this doesn’t seem to be very much for most of your profs having your own website, but you have to see the timeline. Knowtebook has just started a few months ago.

Compete.com even says that Knowtebook has gained a surplus of over 611% visitors per month.

We share the knowledge

We are thinking about publishing a post on how we have climbed up so fast. If you are interesting in this, please just let us know. If we get at least 10 comments by the 4th of august, we will work on that the next week and the first 10 people will get an exclusive longer and much more detailed version. Knowtebook has relaunched - Moohaaa!

We are proudly announcing that during the last hour Knowtebook has relaunched. It took some weeks of brainstorming and hard work, but now we are better structured, designed and you have more possibilites to publish your own content and can make a lot of suggestions. A new brand (the moos) with a new design where choosen and we would like to hear some feedback from you. Shall we improve some parts of the site? What would you like to find here, ….? Tell us everything you want! We have an ear for you!

Struggling:

We recognize some problems of our flash based tag cloud in the sidebar (Update: fixed). We will try to get it work as fast as we can, since it is the main navigation through the topics. During the next days we will sort out a bunch of not relevant content with deadlinks for example. It is hard to keep the over 1000 posts updated. So be pation with us the next days, please.

Help needed

We are also looking for guestwriters and people who want to support Knowtebook. If you are interested please get in contact with Sebastian. The wishes and the message: make it to something unique!
